An image reportedly posted by Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform has caused a stir, considering June is Pride Month. An inadvertent celebration? ;-)

Donald Trump loves to say women are "too emotional" to be president, but the second a female journalist calmly challenges him on his election lies, he turns bright red, rips off his mic, and storms out of the room. Like a toddler denied a toy, he threw a tantrum and crashed out of an NBC interview rather than answer a basic question about his own claims.

Sydney Sweeney, best known for Euphoria and The White Lotus, recently posted a no-makeup photo - and the internet had a lot to say.
While many fans praised her for embracing her natural look, others criticized her for “not looking like herself” without glam. The mixed reactions highlight the intense pressure celebrities face to always appear polished and camera-ready.
By sharing the unfiltered photo, Sydney challenged the unrealistic beauty standards that often shape Hollywood - and social media. The moment quickly turned into a bigger conversation about authenticity, self-image, and why women are still judged so harshly for simply looking human.
Sometimes the boldest statement isn’t makeup - it’s confidence without it.

Let's keep this simple.

First thing he wants: To secure the Arctic against Russian encroachment.
What is the sane way to get it: Work with Europe and Denmark on cooperation, strengthen NATO presence, and invest jointly in security and infrastructure in Greenland.
Knowing this is Trump, what is likelier to happen: He damages relations with Europe, bullies allies, and treats Greenland like a real estate deal. Even if US leverage in the Arctic increases short term, the long term damage to trust and alliances helps Russia more than it hurts it.

Next thing he wants...

So, it turns out some freshly released emails from Epstein claim that Trump spent hours with one of the victims at Epstein's home, and that Trump "of course... knew about the girls", according to the financier:

"People don’t know this, but the leaders of Europe - Macron, Merkel, the Italians with their pizza, all of them, crying, literally crying - they come to me, they say, ‘Sir, please, please, be the President of Europe.’ And I said, look, I’ve already been the greatest President of the United States, everybody knows it, but Europe - Europe needs me even more...

1) Take some obscure actress and start posting about her
2) Create an artificial controversy around her
3) Have loads of folks fume about it on both sides
4) Generate online buzz
5) Profit!
And she's not even exceptionally pretty!

I've been reading about Temu lately, and while the prices might seem tempting, there's a big catch. A recent EU report shows that many products sold on the platform - from electronics to kids’ toys and cosmetics - often don’t meet European safety standards. Some items have even been found to contain hazardous chemicals or pose fire risks: PDF

Oh, that damn Windows!

It's crap, I know, but we can't live without it. Or can't we?

Anyway, Windows can be annoying AND funny at the same time, depending the angle you look at it from (and your current mood). Want examples? You insist on examples? Okay, you asked for it: LINK!

I'm all for smart guardrails that help us harness AI safely without suffocating innovation. Now, the US has been highly reactive (with over 550 AI‑related bills in 45 states) but lacks cohesive federal direction. Meanwhile, the EU’s sweeping “AI Act” sets high standards but could overburden smaller innovators:

Influencers 'new' threat to uncontacted tribes, warns group after US tourist arrest

Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov, 24, allegedly landed on North Sentinel Island in an apparent attempt to make contact with the isolated Sentinelese tribe, filming his visit and leaving a can of coke and a coconut on the shore.
.....Mr Polyakov blew a whistle off the shore of the island in a bid to attract the attention of the tribe for about an hour.
He then landed for about five minutes, leaving his offerings, collecting samples and recording a video.
It is illegal for foreigners or Indians to travel within 5km (three miles) of the islands in order to protect the people living there.
......such visits pose a threat to a community which has no immunity to outside diseases.

Or hey, maybe you can contract something from there and bring it back to the rest of the planet! Wait... nevermind that...

Social media has become flooded with penguin memes after Trump slapped 10% tariffs on all exports from the Heard and McDonald Islands, barren sub-Antarctic Australian territories. Both islands are uninhabited by humans, but home to thousands of penguins.

If Trump wants the US to compete with the world, why would he eviscerate the U.S. Agency for International Development, an essential tool of American soft power influence around the world? Or fire thousands of the scientists needed to keep the United States competitive? Or attack the institutions of higher education that Americans need to stay ahead? Or refer to half of his own population as the enemy within? Or threaten good neighbors while making nice with China’s no-limits friend? Or hand over so much power to Mr Musk, who has deep business interests in China?"

Short answer? He doesn't...
