So, a guy with a long and well documented record of mental disorders (hearing voices in his head, etc), and with an even more extensive record of gun-related incidents (shot at some guy's tires, etc), is STILL allowed to get his paws on a gun without a problem, and not only that, but also to enter a secured military facility, and start merrily shooting at folks? Huh?

But that's not what shocks me...

My country just plain doesn't take mental health seriously. They think "oh, well, this dude is cool to have a gun and walk around, that was just an isolated incident..." and then they have the fucking balls to act all shocked when something like what Alexis did happens.

What I find funny is that I find out he's from the city I grew up in, too.

Oh lordy. Maybe I should get out of the USA before it self-implodes?
