Often those assumptions are met with a barrage of either ridicule or scorn, or angry responses, because the affected side feels that it has been slandered unjustly. The examples are many: they could include words like "socialist", "fascist", "Nazi", "racist", or assumptions like "they hate group X", "they want group Y dead" and other "they, they, THEY".
Your task now, should you accept the challenge, is to come up with a one-sentence description of the thing(s) that annoy you the most in YOUR "side" (whichever side you think you'd be most comfortable associating yourself with).
