2. The chance of a piece of info reaching a larger number of people is proportional to its level of irreality and implausibility.

5. The idiotism in a given territory spreads proportionately to the pace of building Internet connections on said territory.

7. The hysterical behavior of a given Internet group is equal to the number of users in their menstrual period, multiplied by the sum of the relative number of the lunar phase plus the number of solar flares per day.

8. The number of users who write gibberish on a given topic always exceeds the number of those writing smart things.

9. Ignorance and illiteracy is not an obstacle to giving opinions on all sorts of scientific, economic, political and philosophical topics. On the contrary - it's an important prerequisite for that.

10. The user's ability to filter the stream of info is proportional to the number of books they've read in their life.

11. In developing countries, the Internet brings more damage than benefit.

12. The majority of users prefer to *watch* War And Peace rather than *reading* War And Peace.

13. There are always enough people online who wish to join a protest, any protest. Usually most of them don't even know exactly what the protest is about.

14. Until 200 years ago, folly used to spread around the world with the speed of a horse; nowadays it reaches you with the speed of your Internet provider.
