"Democrats have talked for years about the corrosive influence of money in politics, but Monday night, Jon Stewart targeted the party for its hypocrisy on such matters. After all, Democrats are raising a ton of money in tightly competitive states. So in other words, Stewart explained, “their outrage is brought to you by money, the pillow smothering our democracy in its hospital bed.” He likened this to “thou shalt not kill, but if you’re going to…”"
I bet he doesn't look as bad a liberal hack as he generally used to, now, does he? That said, perhaps Stewart has already forgotten how he himself rose to prominence largely as a result of huge amounts of public money being funnelled into certain cable outlets during the mid-90s and the switch to fiber optic cable.
But back to the point...
